Lefties Welcome Outfielders Taylor Adams and Grant Sutton 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—January 10, 2017—Port Angeles, WA—The Port Angeles Lefties start the New Year strong with an exciting lineup of collegiate athletes. In the coming weeks, get to know the team with a steady rollout of player announcements. First up are Outfielders Taylor Adams and Grant Sutton. Start following their progress this spring; collegiate baseball begins soon!



Adams joins the Lefties from Tacoma Community College, where he plays outfield for Coach Ryan Mummert. This 6’3” Lacey, Washington native bats and throws right and weighs in at 200. Committed to play at University of Oregon, Adams is a plus runner, shows good bat speed and is a versatile outfielder. Sutton joins the Lefties from University of Portland, where he plays outfield and first base for Coach Geoff Loomis. A Gig Harbor native, Sutton made a name for himself in high school, winning the coach’s award and the 2014 Silver Slugger Award. He is 6’4”, 235 lbs and bats and throws right.
