NW native and Former Kitsap Bluejacket headline Port Angeles Lefties Signings.

Port Angeles, WA – The Port Angeles Lefties have announced the signings of two players for their inaugural 2017 season, Outfielder Alex Junior from Tennessee Tech University and Outfielder Dylan Vchulek from University of Hawaii.

Alex Junior is a Sophomore at Tennessee Tech University in Cookville, TN. In 2015 Junior played his summer ball for the Kitsap Bluejackets of the West Coast Collegiate League.
Junior is a talented outfielder that possesses world class speed that can be utilized at the top of the order to create havoc for pitchers. After his freshman year of college Alex was very productive for the BlueJackets. He finished the season with 23 runs scored, 24 walks and nine stolen bases. Summer of 2017 Alex will be finished with his Junior year of college and be draft eligible.
Dylan Vchulek is a Junior at the University of Hawai’i. Vchulek is a Northwest native from Bainbridge Island, and previously attended Bellevue Community College. This will be Vchulek’s first year in the West Coast League.
Vchulek is another skilled outfielder and top of the order hitter that can frustrate pitchers with his bat and speed. 2016 for Bellevue CC, Vchulek hit .360, with 31 hits, 16 RBI, 10 SB, 18 runs scored and 12 walks in 28 games. Vchulek is another top of the order hitter with speed.
